Floods: Victims increase in Terengganu

KUALA TERENGGANU: Flood situation in Terengganu worsened as the number of evacuees continued to rise to 36,158 people to 35,951 at 94 centres this morning.
Kemaman recorded the highest number of victims with 25,235 people at 45 relief centres followed with Dungun with 10,938 people evacuated to 37 relief centres.
Kuala Terengganu retained with 780 people at seven centres while Hulu Terengganu with 205 victims moved to five relief centres.
Four roads: Jalan Aring-Kenyir-Kuala Jeneris in Hulu Terengganu, Jalan AMBS-Pasir Raja in Dungun, Jalan Kuala Terengganu-Dungun-Chukai in Kemaman and road towards Felda Mengkawang in Hulu Terengganu were closed this morning.
