Vacation, Vacation, Vacation is a new series that tracks down the best luxury holiday destinations for those with a penchant for travel. From cheap boutique hotels in the Mediterranean to the most expensive of cruises, they will find out if holiday makers get true value for their money.
The eight-part series, premiering on Nov 25, airs every Monday at 9.30pm on TLC (Astro Channel 707). Repeats are on Wednesdays at 4.30pm, at 8.30pm on Thursdays and at 11.30pm and 3.30pm on Saturdays.
Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer travel over 30,000km across three continents and will use more than 10 different modes of transportation just to find the best deals on the market at every price point. Whether budget and bijou or grand and glamorous, the pair evaluate a wide range of both low-end and high-end options, and provide practical advice on how and where to take that next vacation.
In each half-hour episode of Vacation, Vacation, Vacation, Allsopp and Spencer tackle one type of holiday - romantic weekend or an outdoor adventure - or visit one destination like Tuscany or St. Moritz.
One of them is in charge with finding the best value budget vacation, while the other treats viewers to a peek at lavish luxury and provides a cheat's guide on how to get it without breaking the bank. Each has to devise his or her side of the holiday on whatever money they're given, sourcing activities, meals, and accommodation.
Whether it's Ibiza or Iceland, Marrakesh or the Maldives, each episode is packed with destination information and most importantly, tips on what's worth spending hard-earned cash on.
