Why some women can't orgasm

Women know all too well that it can take a while to reach your peak and orgasm.

Fumbling in the dark just doesn't cut it and so many females learn to fake it instead.

But researchers have revealed some shocking revelations that may help solve those dry nights.

Women who struggle to orgasm may be suffering from a condition called 'anorgasmia', which means 'unable to orgasm.'

Sufferers of the condition tend to have small clitoris' which are located further from the Vagina, according to researchers in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

These findings could lead to future cures, say experts.

"There’s no G Spot. There’s a C spot – the clitoris. It is the source of a lot of sexual pleasure for the female," says study researcher Susan Oakley from Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Researchers used MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) to scan the pelvic areas of thirty women in their 30s, ten of whom had reported that they rarely or never achieve climax.

Others had a normal orgasmic experience during sex.

After tests, it was discovered that women 'unable to orgasm' have clitoris' up to 5 or 6 millimetres further away from their vaginas.

Such knowledge helps to advance towards a clitoris cure for women struggling with their sex organ.

But not to fear, as The Health Site reports, women can try out masturbation and a top sex move called the anvil.

This involves the pubic bone making contact with the clitoris, which is guaranteed to cause a buzz.

Still struggling?
Find out more about the clitoris below:

The clitoris is the female sex organ which is highly sensitive. It's like a penis in that when it is aroused it fills with blood and grows in size.

The clitoris is located just above the opening of the vagina, at the front of the inner lips and is sometimes nicknamed 'bean.' Hence the term 'flicking the bean.'

The clitoris is a great source of stimulation for women, which is why the term is now C spot rather than G spot.
