Date with Fran and Adibah Noor at Best Western Premier Dua Sentral, Kuala Lumpur
FRANCISSCA Peter and Adibah Noor will be performing at Best Western Premier Dua Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, from April 29 to June 7.
Francissca (aka Fran) is a singer-songwriter with an extensive repertoire. She made a splash in the local music scene with her debut album, Komputer Muzik, in 1984, and is best known for her Malay love songs which made her one of the country's best-selling artistes in the 1980s and 1990s.
In 1987, Fran was the first Malaysian artiste to win the International Award for Best Song at the Asean Song Festival in Kuala Lumpur. She is also known for her rendition of Malaysia's second national anthem, Setia.
Besides being an ambassador to The International Aid Organisation WorldVision for nine consecutive years, Fran was chosen as one of The Most Inspiring Women in Malaysia by The Star in 2011 following her efforts in helping the less fortunate.
The bubbly Adibah will mesmerise audiences with a combination of Broadway and jazz with funky dance numbers. She is a multi-talented artiste known for her melodious voice. In 2006, her song, Terlalu Istimewa, bagged four awards at the Anugerah Juara Lagu in the categories of Best Vocal, Ballads Category, Best Song and Overall Winner.
The dinner show will be accompanied by a six-course Western set menu.
