What if Allah....

What If.....

What if Allah couldn't take the time to bless us today because we couldn't take the time to thank Him yesterday?

What if Allah decided to stop leading us tomorrow because we didn't follow Him today?

What if we never saw another flower bloom because we grumbled when Allah sent the Rain?

What if Allah didn't walk with us today because we failed to recognize it as His day?

What if Allah took away the Quran tomorrow because we would not read it today?

What if Allah took away His message because we failed to listen to the messenger?

What if the door of the Mosque was closed because we didn't open the door of our heart?

What if Allah stopped loving and caring for us because we failed to love and care for others?

What if Allah would not hear us today because we would not listen to Him?

What if Allah answered our prayers the way we answer His calls?

What if Allah met our needs the way we give Him our lives?

Milo Nutrition Movement

‘Milo Nutrition Movement’, Milo’s nutrition campaign takes a step towards educating Malaysian mothers on the right balance of nutrition and energy in their childrens’ diet.

For the first time, Milo Malaysia launched a month-long pledge collection through their Milo Malaysia Facebook page, whereby a minimum 10,000 pledges will provide 10,000 breakfast meals to students in selected rural schools nationwide.

The pledge collection which is currently ongoing since its commencement on June 18, will conclude on July 18 this year.

The ‘Milo Nutrition Movement’ aims to inform mothers that “drinking” right is key in a child’s development.

Since mothers are in control of their childrens’ diets, the primary target for the ‘Milo Nutrition Movement’ is mothers with children aged between 7 and 12 years old.

Health-food drinks like Milo are able to provide essential nutrients and complement a varied, balanced diet to ensure that a child is in optimal condition.

Focusing on the importance of a balanced breakfast for children, the campaign will promote the sustainable energy provided by Milo’s nutritious choco-malt content.

According to a study conducted by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2008, almost 30% of primary school children skipped breakfast on an average of two to three times a week.

This, coupled with Milo’s brand proposition as a nutritious beverage, has propelled Milo to launch a nutrition campaign that will spread the company’s wealth of knowledge in the nutritional arena across the nation.

“Through years of research, Milo nutritionists have found the right balance of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients to provide energy and sustenance for kids to take on their hectic day,” said Nestlé Products Sdn Bhd coffee and beverages executive director Don Howat.

“While Milo may be popular for its great choco-malty taste, our consumers can be assured that content in one cup of Milo with protomalt and actigen-E is able to provide your child with essential nutrients and energy to kick-start their day right,” he added.

Other highlights of the nationwide campaign include on-ground activities, product detailing in various hypermarkets and supermarkets as well as school visits.

Big Bang’s first world tour in Singapore this September 28

Korean hip-hop boy band Big Bang, who are almost half-way through their first world tour, BIG BANG Alive tour 2012, have confirmed their stop in Singapore to be on September 28.

Singapore concert promoters Launch Entertainment, Lushington Entertainments and Live Nation confirmed Friday that the quintet will be performing their electrifying stage at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

This concert comes after Big Bang’s one-year absence in Singapore. During a press conference held before the start of their tour, leader of the band G-Dragon expressed that their Alive concert would be different from what they have shown in the past.

“It will feel like you’re watching a musical with a well thought-out story line,” revealed G-Dragon.

Aside from performing songs from their latest “Alive” album, Big Bang, who debuted in 2006 with their “Bigbang Vol.1″ album, will also be singing some of their older songs handpicked by the members themselves.

Disney's 'Brave' Tops Box Office Charts

Disney's 'Brave' Tops Box Office Charts

Disney's new animated movie, Brave, about a rebellious, red-headed princess battled to the top of movie box office charts over the weekend, scoring US$80 million in ticket sales around the world.

The fairy tale from Disney's Pixar studio pulled in US$66.7 million at domestic theaters from Friday through Sunday, plus US$13.5 million from international markets. Brave easily topped new historical/horror mashup Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, which finished the weekend in third place.

The 3D Brave is set in the ancient Scottish highlands and centers around horseback-riding teen princess Merida, who defies her mother and her kingdom's traditions. Merida, voiced by Scottish actress Kelly Macdonald, must then use her courage and archery skills to undo a curse.

The movie brings the 13th consecutive No. 1 opening to Pixar, which has become Hollywood's most reliable studio during its 17-year history of making films. Starting with Toy Story in 1995, its 12 films before Brave have generated more than US$7.2 billion in worldwide ticket sales, according to Hollywood.com.

Its 2010 film Toy Story 3 was the biggest selling film that year, with US$415 million in U.S. ticket sales and nearly US$1.1 billion worldwide.

Brave is a departure for Pixar, and is its first film to feature a strong female as the lead character, following a long Disney tradition with female heroines that in recent years have included Mulan and Pocahontas. Brave cost about US$185 million to make.

Ahead of the weekend, industry tracking suggested Brave would secure between US$55 million and US$60 million in domestic ticket sales, putting the film line with most of Pixar's recent debuts, but the film topped expectations.

Brave knocked another animated family film, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, to No. 2 after its two weeks in the top spot. The movie about a pack of escaped zoo animals took in US$20 million at North American (U.S. and Canadian) theaters over the weekend, and the worldwide total since its debut rose to US$157.6 million.

In third place on domestic charts, thriller Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter rung up a solid US$16.5 million. The movie imagines the 16th U.S. president fighting creatures of the night that are plotting to take over the country. Benjamin Walker stars as the axe-wielding Lincoln in the US$70-million 3D production.

The movie rung up another US$8.1 million in international markets.

Distributor 20th Century Fox, a unit of News Corp, had projected domestic sales would hit around US$15 million for the weekend.

In fourth place, Alien director Ridley Scott's movie, Prometheus, about explorers searching for the origins of mankind added US$10 million in domestic sales to bring its global sales after three weeks to US$108.5 million.

Another new release, Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World pulled in US$3.8 million, for a disappointing 10th place. The dark comedy starring Steve Carrell and Keira Knightley tells the story of a man who goes on a road trip as an asteroid speeds toward Earth.

The film, which cost less than US$10 million to make, played in 1,618 theaters, fewer than the 3,000-plus for the weekend's other big movies.

The fifth spot went to Universal's Snow White And The Huntsman, which took in US$8 million domestically to bring its four-week global total to US$137 million.

Madagascar 3 was produced by Dreamworks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures, a unit of Viacom Inc. News Corp movie studio 20th Century Fox released Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Prometheus. Focus Features, a unit of Comcast Corp's Universal Pictures, released Seeking A Friend.

Datuk Ahmad Phesal Talib is new KL mayor from July 18

Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Ministry secretary-general Datuk Ahmad Phesal Talib, 58, has been appointed as the new Kuala Lumpur mayor for a two-year term starting July 18.

Ahmad Phesal will be replacing Tan Sri Ahmad Fuad Ismail after his contract expires on July 15. Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin said Monday the King had given his consent for the appointment of Ahmad Phesal as the 10th mayor of Kuala Lumpur.

Nong Chik said Ahmad Phesal, who has served about 35 years in the public sector, had vast experience in the administration, development and planning of local authorities before he was appointed the secretary-general of the ministry in 2007.

He said when Ahmad Phesal was holding the secretary-general’s post, he was directly involved in policies regarding the Federal Territories, especially Kuala Lumpur such as the Greater Kuala Lumpur/Klang Valley, River Of Life and other development programmes.

“All this will help when he serves as mayor,” he added.

Nong Chik thanked outgoing mayor Ahmad Fuad for his service as the mayor. Born in Kedah on July 12, 1954, Ahmad Phesal began his stint in the public sector in 1977 as the administration and diplomatic officer and assistant director in the Economic Planning Division in the Prime Minister’s Office.

He also served as senior project officer in the Public Services Department, secretary of the Labuan Municipal Council, Seberang Perai Selatan district officer, and Balik Pulau district officer.

Ahmad Phesal also served as the Penang Land and Mines director in 2001. In 2004, he was appointed the Penang Municipal Council president where he served until 2006.

His last post before being appointed mayor was the secretary-general of the Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Ministry where he served for five years.

Ahmad Fuad was appointed as the ninth mayor on Dec 14, 2008, replacing Datuk Hakim Borhan. The mayor’s contract expired on Dec 14, 2010, but was given a six-month extension until July 15 last year. His contract was extended for another year to allow him to honour and follow through with commitments and promises made to the people, including the KL MPs.

Ahmad Phesal, who hails from Kedah, graduated with a Bachelor degree in Literature (in the Anthropology and Sociology field) from University Malaya in 1984.

This was followed by a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Wisconsin, USA in 1997. He subsequently he obtained a Diploma in Advanced Management from Harvard Business School in 2005.

Saiful Apek Freed Of Drug Charge

Saiful Apek And Three Friends Freed Of Drug Charge

Comedy actor Saiful Apek and his three friends were on Monday acquitted and discharged by the Magistrate's Court here today for consuming drug two years ago.

Magistrate Ahmad Solihin Abd Wahid ordered the comedy actor, whose real name is Mohd Saifulazam Mohamed Yusoff, and his friends to be freed after finding that the prosecution had failed to establish a prima facie case against them.

Saiful Apek

In his judgment, Ahmad Solihin said the defence had succeeded in raising doubts on the case by bringing up, among others, the issue on the contradictions in the labelling of dates on the urine sample bottles, the urine samples being kept for too long, the presence of two forms for the urine tests and failure to prove there was an element of calibration and quality control in the test.

On Nov 1 last year, Saiful Apek, 43, Shah Zainatull Ehsan Al-Muazam Shah Yahya, 28, Shaiful Baharom, 24, and Noremy Mohamad, 28, pleaded not guilty to a charge with self-administration of cannabis at the Narcotics Criminal Investigation division office of the Subang Jaya police headquarters in Seri Kembangan here at 11pm on June 12, 2010.

The offence carries a maximum jail sentence of two years or RM5,000 fine, if found guilty.

Take You Lyrics - Justin Bieber

Take You Lyrics - Justin Bieber

Hey, what's the situation?
I'm just tryna make a little conversation, why the hesitation?
Tell me what your name is, for your information, don't get me wrong
You know it's right, don't be so cold, we could be fire
Tomorrow we go, let's start tonight
You know what it's all about

I can take you up, I can take you home
I can take you oh-oh-oh where you wanna go
I can pick it up, we could take it slow
I can take you home
I can take you up, I can take you home
I can take you oh-oh-oh where you wanna go
I can pick it up, we could take it slow
I can take you home

I might have a reputation, oh oh, but it's only me and you in this equation
Promise this occasion, oh oh, it's a different situation
For your information, don't get me wrong
You know it's right, don't be so cold, we could be fire
Tomorrow we go, let's start tonight
You know what it's all about

I can take you up, I can take you home
I can take you oh-oh-oh where you wanna go
I can pick it up, we could take it slow
I can take you home
I can take you up, I can take you home
I can take you oh-oh-oh where you wanna go
I can pick it up, we could take it slow
I can take you home

I can take you up, I can take you home
I can take you up, I can take you home

Baby, señorita, mon cheri, please be my little lady, my little lady
Mi amor, you're the one I adore you, come on be my little lady, my little lady
Baby, señorita, mon cheri, please be my little lady, my little lady
Mi amor, you're the one I adore you, come on be my little lady, my little lady

I can take you up, I can take you home
I can take you oh-oh-oh where you wanna go
I can pick it up, we could take it slow
I can take you home
I can take you up, I can take you home

Fall Lyrics - Justin Bieber

Fall Lyrics - Justin Bieber

Well, let me tell you a story
About a girl and a boy
He fell in love with his best friend
When she's around, he feels nothing but joy
But she was already broken, and it made her blind
But she could never believe that love would ever treat her right

Did you know that I loved you or were you not aware?
You're the smile on my face
And I ain't going nowhere
I'm here to make you happy, I'm here to see you smile
I've been wanting to tell you this for a long while

Who's gonna make you fall in love?
I know you got your wall wrapped all the way around your heart
Don't have to be scared at all, oh, my love
But you can't fly unless you let yourself,
You can't fly unless you let yourself fall

Well, I can tell you're afraid of what this might do
Cause we got such an amazing friendship and that you don't wanna lose
Well, I don't wanna lose it either
I don't think I can stay sitting around while you're hurting babe, so take my hand

Well, did you know you're an angel who forgot how to fly?
Did you know that it breaks my heart every time to see you cry
Cause I know that a piece of you's gone
Every time he done wrong I'm the shoulder you're crying on
And I hope by the time that I'm done with this song that I figure out

Who's gonna make you fall in love?
I know you got your wall wrapped all the way around your heart
Don't have to be scared at all, oh, my love
But you can't fly unless you let yourself,
You can't fly unless you let yourself fall

I will catch you if you fall
I will catch you if you fall
I will catch you if you fall

But if you spread your wings
You can fly away with me
But you can't fly unless you let your...
You can't fly unless you let yourself fall

Who's gonna make you fall in love?
I know you got your wall wrapped all the way around your heart
Don't have to be scared at all, oh, my love
But you can't fly unless you let yourself,
You can't fly unless you let yourself fall,

So fall in love
I know you got your wall wrapped all the way around your heart
Don't have to be scared at all, oh my love
But you can't fly unless you let yourself,
You can't fly unless you let yourself fall

I will catch you if you fall
I will catch you if you fall
I will catch you if you fall

If you spread your wings
You can fly away with me
But you can't fly unless you let your... let yourself fall

Skin To Bone Lyrics - Linkin Park

Skin To Bone Lyrics - Linkin Park

Skin to bone, steel to rust
Ash to ashes dust to dust
Will tomorrow have it's way
with the promises we made
Skin to Bone, steel to rust.

Ash to ashes, dust to dust
Your deception, my disgust
When your name is finally drawn,
I'll be happy that you're gone
Ash to ashes, dust to dust.

[Chorus:]
(aaah) Ash to ashes, dust to dust
(aaah) Skin to bone and steel to rust

Right to left, left to right
Night to day and day to night
As the starlight fades to gray,
I'll be watching far away
Right to left and left to right

[Chorus:]
(aaah) Ash to ashes, dust to dust
(aaah) Skin to bone and steel to rust

Will tomorrow have it's way?
Will the darkness, it betray?
Skin to bone and steel to rust [x3]

The Difference between Dating and Courting

The Difference between Dating and Courting
Dating and courting can be beautiful, rich, learning, and growing experiences. These experiences are a path to helping us find the person we will choose to love. Love is a selfless, unconditional action; not based on anything unstable. So, since dating and courting may lead to love, we must be responsible and handle both situations with care.

If approached correctly, you will never have to wonder whether you are dating or courting anyone. You see, we should not haphazardly fall into dating or courtship. “Dating” and “courtship” are not just words used to casually describe our relationships and interactions with people. They should both be experiences we manage in healthy ways.

Dating and courting in healthy ways will eliminate 85% of our pain, drama, or problems in dealing with men or women. So, let’s go a little deeper in defining some things that distinguish dating and courtship.

1. The Goal – The goal of dating is to get to know people (and even learn some things about you in the process). The goal of courtship is marriage. The transition from dating to courtship comes after two people have gotten to know one another really well. After this, they can talk openly and decide they both want to move towards marriage. The two people should both be able to say, with confidence, “We are courting to get married.”

2. The Relationship – When dating, you get to know people as acquaintances. You learn about their likes, dislikes, interests, etc… When courting, you become best friends. This is where you begin to share more about the reasons for who you are, why you like the things you like, the source of your interests, etc… This is where you spend time together experiencing one another’s interests for the purpose of supporting them and helping them move towards their goals.

3. The Status – Dating is a temporary place and should be a safe place for getting to know someone. Courting is for a loving and secure relationship.

4. The Communication – You should be honest, no matter what. That speaks to good character. However, during the dating phase, you share in order to learn about one another. During the courtship phase, you learn to actively listen and work together to lay a strong foundation for marriage.

5. The Intimacy – Sex is not for dating or courting. It should be reserved for marriage. During the dating phase, you may find yourself attracted to a person. However, this is the time for you to establish boundaries and ensure you do not place yourself in situations where you will be tempted. During a courtship, you should have open and honest communication with your partner and work together to establish boundaries.

6. The Family – The dating phase is not the time to “meet the family”. Remember, when dating, you are developing acquaintance-level friendships. Once you have had a chance to get to know a person without a lot of outside influences, had a chance to evaluate them for yourself, and you know they are someone you would considering marrying… then you can start to integrate them with the family. Now, let me add, I am not saying you must be secretive about everyone you are dating. Apply wisdom and definitely let someone know who you are spending time with. However, I am saying to have some discretion about who you start to integrate with your family. Courtship is when you should meet and spend time with each other’s family.

7. The Preparation – Being happy alone is the prerequisite to having a happy relationship and marriage. No man or woman can do what God is supposed to be doing in your life and there is no way around it. Once you are happy alone, you may choose to enter the dating phase. During this phase, you should do things to help you continue to grow as an individual (prayer, reading, studying, counseling, etc…). In a courtship, you should seek resources that help you learn how to grow together as one in preparation for marriage (e.g. marriage counseling, reading, open discussions, etc…).

8. The Commitment – Whether dating or courting, either party can decide the relationship is not for them and choose to walk away. When dating with boundaries, ending a relationship is not devastating because you have an acquaintance-level friendship and you both respect the other’s decision to walk away. When in a courtship, there may be hurt involved from ending the relationship. However, the honesty and security in the relationship allow you to walk away with mutual respect.

Closing Thought:
Understanding the difference between dating and courting can help avoid a lot of pain and problems many face in relationships. When we set up healthy expectations and boundaries, and date responsibly, we give ourselves a better opportunity to develop healthy, lasting, relationships.

South Korean boy band Shinhwa is back in the scene

Over the last four years, South Korea’s oldest surviving boy band Shinhwa nervously watched as K-pop’s popularity exploded, but it could not do anything about it.

The six-member group, credited with helping to start the idol group trend when it was formed in 1998 by SM Entertainment, was on hiatus for the members to serve their mandatory military service.

While they took turns to embark on their two-year-long army stints, each member took on solo activities such as dramas and releasing solo albums.

The group comprise leader Eric Mun, 33, lead dancer Lee Min Woo, 32, main vocalist Kim Dong Wan, 32, lead vocalist Shin Hye Sung, 32, vocalist and rapper Jun Jin, 31, and main rapper Andy Lee, 31.

Together forever: K-pop industry veterans Shinhwa is making a comeback and the members have loads of advice for the younger idol groups.
In an e-mail interview, Kim confesses to feeling envious of other groups while he was pursuing solo activities: “I thought a lot about gathering six new members and launching a new album together, meeting our fans using the name of Shinhwa, and I think my members were thinking the same thing.

“The last four years were indeed a long break without certainty.”

Now that the group is back – it released its 10th full-length album aptly titled The Return in March, and performed at a concert in Singapore last weekend – one thing is for sure: It is feeling the heat of returning to a highly competitive K-pop industry.

Having outlasted other early idol groups such as H.O.T. and g.o.d. that have long disbanded, Mun says: “I feel more pressured to show what the real Shinhwa are than to be proper seniors to the junior K-pop groups.

“The title of ‘first idol group releasing 10th album after 14 years of their career’ adds even more pressure and raises the expectations of the public.”

Shin, who was exempt from military service due to a knee injury, adds: “We are now actively promoting our 10th album, yet the public thinks of Shinhwa as just an old group which had a long break of four years.

“This time, I’d like to deliver a refreshed image of Shinhwa to many people.”

The group’s comeback concerts in Seoul, South Korea, and a few Japanese cities were sold out, and they will be heading to China next, including Beijing.

As K-pop industry veterans, the band members have lots of advice for younger idol groups.

It is the first idol group to have set up its own entertainment company – Shinhwa Company – last year to manage themselves as a group.

Lee says: “The most important parts are communication and trust. Males do fight a lot. However, communicating after the fight is more important in solving misunderstandings.

“If you want to be like Shinhwa, do converse a lot, and understand more. Trust is the power.”

Seeing how it is now the norm for members of idol groups to engage in solo activities even while they are part of a group, Shin adds: “Even if you become No.1 on your own, please don’t think that all the fame came because of your ability – it comes from the support of your fellow members.”

And while the members might have toyed with the idea of forming their own groups during their break, that is the furthest thing from their minds now.

Mun says: “Our goal is not about running to the top place, but keeping our team together forever.” – The Straits Times Singapore/Asia News Network

此版本加收「Be My Baby」中文版,附64頁豪華寫真集及DVD收入「Be My Baby」MV及拍攝花絮。

The Wonder Girls have been globetrotting the last few years, spreading their catchy retro dance hits in the US and every corner of Asia. More time abroad means less time at home, so the Wonder Girls have been relatively absent from K-pop. Since Nobody, the group has only released one Korean single, last year's 2 Different Tears. Now the girls are finally making their K-pop comeback with their second full-length album. No more retro concept this time: the Wonder Girls return with a sophisticated new look and sound in their sassy dance hit Be My Baby. "

How to survive the Euro 2012 season

How to survive the Euro 2012 season
One of the indigenous tribes in Sarawak has an informal tradition when it comes to marking time and distances. It seems such things are measured by the amount of time one takes to smoke a cigarette.

For instance, if you ask how far away one longhouse is located from another longhouse, the person would say "one cigarette".

In fact, there was apparently at least one time in court when a victim of a crime was asked how long it took for the perpetrator to commit the said offence. The reply was: "Half a cigarette".

How this works one can only guess, as one would think that different people take different amounts of time to smoke a stick.

With the crazy season called the European Championship upon us now, you just know that the number of cigarettes being smoked will definitely increase, and what's more, the more fanatical fans will likely take an even shorter time to smoke that cancer stick.

And that's not all that will cause football fans to cut their lives shorter by a few minutes.

Once every two years, football fanatics will spend about a month losing sleep as they tune into late- night games at either the Euros or the Fifa World Cup. The only exception was in 2002 when the World Cup was played in South Korea and Japan and football fans in Malaysia could watch matches at a godly hour.

With the Euros this year being played at either midnight or 2.45am Malaysian time, fans here will once again be staying up late for the sake of watching the "beautiful game". Or, if you're not a football fan, "22 men chasing a ball around a field".

The lack of sleep cannot be good for the body. But that's not the only thing that will be compromised by the football fever which grips so many nations around the world.

Sleepy-eyed football fans in Asia, especially, will be walking into their offices looking like extraterrestrials whose eyes have no whites.

They will be drinking litres of coffee each day to stay awake. If possible, they would have a caffeine drip permanently attached to their arms.

Of course, the more fanatical may actually take the entire month off from work just so they can spend their days like vampires, sleeping, sans the coffins.

But for most of us who can't afford to waste our annual leave days, the red-eyed, un-ironed, unshaven, homeless look will be the order of the day, haute couture from Milan, Paris and where-have-you be damned.

You'll also find people sleeping in their cars during lunch breaks, sneaking off for naps in toilet cubicles, or just snoring at their desks.

But let's not forget that our employers pay us to work, so perhaps some tips are necessary to beat the fatigue that is sure to hit us football fans in the next month or so.

First of all, try to sleep early. Catching a few hours of sleep a night and waking up for the games will at least allow us to recharge those batteries.

Second, try not to watch all the games. Just like a military commander picks and chooses the field of battle, perhaps we can pick and choose which games we should watch.

Third, and this ties in with the second suggestion, record the games you don't need to watch "live". With Astro's PVR these days, you can do that.

And, finally, there are also delayed telecasts and replays on the tube, so you can catch those as well.

Tall order for football junkies intent on watching live telecasts? For sure. But still doable.

Yes, if you record a game or wait for a replay of the match, you'd probably know the result already. But is it worth losing sleep over?

And spare a thought for your better half, unless he or she is a football fanatic as well. If not, you may just find yourself sleeping with the dog, or completely out on the street.

Of course, if a football fan does find himself out on the street, chances are he'll be spending it at the local 24-hour restaurant watching the games anyway.

As for me, I'll be trying to watch only the games I think will be exciting. But like I said earlier, tall order for a football junkie.

So wish me luck, and I'll do the same for you.

Good reasons for marrying late

Good reasons for marrying late
In order to live happier, the long-time single person had better ready a palpable reason for marrying late, even if it’s only for overcoming the endlessly curious questioning from parents, relatives and friends.

As all single people know, these busy bodies would give them no peace until they are provided with a satisfactory answer.

A fair portion of the people marries late mainly out of choice, while the majority have missed the boat because they are forced to, having had all along no choice to make.

They have not met the right person, I should think is the most realistic reason there is. Once the right person comes along, I should think they will leap into marriage as speedily as is possible.

If you don’t wish to be troubled by these so-called nosy parkers for want of a freer, happier, less disturbed life, the best way is to rustle up a good, yet convincing reason for your single state, well, because you want to shut them up once and for all.

The most common reason for getting married later has to be, My career comes first.

But even though this might be good enough a convincing reply, before it is said, we have to first make sure whether we already are enjoying a successful career or whether we have already achieved what we had set out to do.

If our job is just being responsible for answering the telephone or running errands in the company, then putting career before marriage does not apply.

The second most common reason is, I don’t believe in marriage.

This, I’m afraid, only applies to those whose parents’ marriage has broken up.

For parents who have a happy marriage life, to give them this reason only make them not only dissatisfied but also sad, since you have seen through them even if unintentional.

The third and fourth reasons are respectively, I enjoy a single life and I have not met a person who could make me want to marry.

Both these reasons are not that bad but too formulaic, as if observing a pattern or following a system. Boring and tasteless, another words.

So, for those single persons who wish to remain and stay the way they are never mind the sky is fallen, it’s more advisable to think of several fresh and interesting excuses, something different from what we always hear.

You never know, you might be convinced by them yourself.

The excuse for marrying late can be and why not? I like to buy a second hand car.

The later the marriage, the more chance there is for us to marry someone who has married before, someone who has experience of a divorce or separation.

A divorced person, either man or woman who dares to marry again means he/she must love us so much, so very much that he does not mind how troublesome the divorce papers are, while he also does not mind another big hole in his pocket.

Another reason for late marriages can be, I would like to help reduce the rate of divorce to the lowest point.

Two married forty-something would have the number of their admirers or suitors considerably reduced for obvious reason and so, chances for love affairs outside marriage would also dropped.

When they look into the mirror, both realize that if they leave the other, all they could find would be one who is far worse than their original partner.

Divorce rate among this group of people is therefore understandably the lowest.

Medic Ed

You do not need a million ringgit to become a Doctor
In this day and age, many parents with an average household income of RM3000, have been stressed about the large amount spent on their children's education.

How can every family afford that? Countries such as Australia and United Kingdom cost around RM800,000 to RM1,000,000. Such course fee has indeed become a high hill to climb for students to fulfill their dreams of becoming a health expert consultant. However, with Medic Ed, fulfilling your dreams is just at the fingertips.

Many people actually wondered, of all agencies, why Medic Ed? Medic Ed offers medical studies at a lower price. It is affordable for family who has lower income. Medic Ed offers medicine courses in countries such as Russia and Indonesia. Many parents will only feel impressed with the word `United Kingdom' or `Australia'. They start to burn themselves out by earning more money to support their children's education.

According to Medic Ed, It does not matter whether it is Russia or Australia because it is still the same medical certificate and it is also recognised by Malaysia government. It all depends on how people prove their ability when they started working later. Students tend to be more independent as they need to get used to such environment which is so different from home. Therefore, with the same course at a better price and a better benefit, isn't it better?

Medic Ed offers all universities which are recognised by the Malaysia Government such as the First Moscow State Medical University and Russian State Medical University in Russia; as well as Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Andalas (Padang), Universitas Hasanuddin, Universitas Brawijaya (East Jaya) and also Institut Teknologi Bandung in Indonesia. China Medical University in Taiwan is also provided by Medic Ed.

Russian Universities offer medical courses for RM 123,000 throughout the whole 6 years whereas Indonesia Universities offer medical courses starting from RM 110,000 throughout the whole 5 years. Dentistry courses in Indonesia cost RM 130,000 and Pharmacy courses will start from the range of RM 70,000 to RM 98,000.

Medic Ed has come up with a 360 degrees concept whereby students will be taken care of from the day they started their courses with Medic Ed to their future. First, Medic Ed has put their consultants through months of training to ensure their ability of handling student's questions as well as to maintain a strong bond with the students. All education consultation will be conducted by professional medical doctors who will then give students a clearer picture of a doctor's life.

Secondly, students will be placed in one of the companies from Medic Ed's group, which is TMC College for Foundation in Science (FIS). TMC College is fully owned by Medic Ed. Students are placed in TMC College so that it would be easier to monitor their progress. TMC College will also hold medical talks, which will be given by medical doctors to students on their course syllabus before entering into the Universities. Besides the medical talk, Russian and Indonesian lecturers are provided to assist students in overcoming cultural shock so that students are well-prepared to face a different lifestyle of other countries.

Next, Medic Ed will assist students who are finally heading to their respective Universities by securing the places, arranging registration and documentation, accommodation, facilitate immigration, pre-departure and as well as ground handling arrangement. Parents will also be updated regarding student's academic progress, welfare and safety as appointed representatives from the respective universities will look after the students. Doctor's advice will be given to students who face academic problems in Russia and Indonesia. In order to give a secure feeling to the students, mentor- mentee programmes are arranged for students who need guidance. Furthermore, Medic Ed assists students with financial aid of about RM300, 000 per year.

On the last quarter of the 360 degrees concept, Medic Ed contributes help in student's documentation procedures as well as registration with Malaysia Medical Council for their government service. Upon graduation, students can always turn back to Medic Ed for their practical purposes and also locum (part-time job) services. In another way, Medic Ed guarantees jobs for their students after graduating, which means they can either work in Medic Ed's clinics or they can joint venture in setting up new clinics. All in all, Medic Ed shows dedication and sincerity to students who need help in this aspect. Giving the best to the students also is a show of promising a good future to the students.

Visit Medic Ed at the NAPEI 31st Malaysian Education Fair 2012 this June 2 and 3 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC) Hall 1 and 2, booths 1044 and 1045 for more details. Anime Festival Asia Malaysia (AFA MY),9 & 10 June 2012

Anime and Japanese popular culture fans are in for a special treat in June as Anime Festival Asia Malaysia will be staged for the very first time in Malaysia.

The festival will showcase an electrifying line-up of anisong (anime songs) stars from Asia's music powerhouse, Japan. Japan's top talent and latest offerings in the animation and Japanese Popular Culture scene will be featured. Visitors can look forward to being transported into Japan's famous Akihabara without requiring a passport - with premium original merchandise, movie screenings, cosplay-related activities, and maid and butler café experiences.

This is made possible by Anime Festival Asia (AFA), Southeast Asia's biggest and most anticipated showcase of the latest Japanese popular culture and anime content as well as stars. Organisers of the highly-established and successful festival announced plans last year to hold satellite events beyond Singapore's shore. Malaysia was one of the countries identified. Anime Festival Asia Malaysia will focus on popular content and the latest trends that are relevant to the Malaysian audience.

Anime Festival Asia Malaysia (AFA MY) will be held on 9 & 10 June, 2012. Occupying a floor space of up to 10,000 square meters, Anime Festival Asia Malaysia will showcase the highly popular "I Love Anisong' concerts which will be staged for two evenings.

Commenting about the forthcoming AFA MY, Mr. Abe Foong, Managing Partner, Anime Festival Asia Malaysia and Director of Mochiro Sdn Bhd. said, "Anime and Japanese popular culture has a strong following in Malaysia. There are approximately 500,000 people who are exposed to anime and this number is growing with the industry.

"Through Anime Festival Asia Malaysia, we hope to make this an annual showcase of the latest and popular content and merchandise. The festival will offer business opportunities to network with Japanese content providers as well and take this industry to a new level," said Mr. Foong.

Mr. Shawn Chin, Festival Director, Anime Festival Asia and Executive Director, SOZO, said, "Through Anime Festival Asia, fans from the region have grown to love the Anime Festival Asia brand and associate it with premium anime and J-pop content. Today, we are happy to stage Anime Festival Asia Malaysia here in response to fans' requests.

"We will offer our Malaysian audience an experience with top quality Japanese popular culture, with local interests and preferences, supported with iconic Anime Festival Asia favorites. With this, we hope that Anime Festival Asia Malaysia will grow into an event that Malaysians can be truly proud of and call their own," concluded Mr. Chin.

Visitors to the Anime Festival Asia Malaysia will be able to catch 6 Japanese Anisong J-Pop Acts performing over 6 hours in 2 days. They will perform songs from some of today's biggest anime titles in Malaysia and Japan.

A special cosplay championship will be held during the festival. The winner will represent Malaysia to compete with the region's best cosplayers from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines, at the Regional Cosplay Championship. The Regional Cosplay Championship will be held in Singapore during Anime Festival Asia in November 2012.

Apart from the concerts, AFA MY will have something for everyone, depending on their interests. Avid shoppers can look forward to original anime merchandises from Akiba Town by some of Japan's top brands such as Good Smile Company and Bushiroad.

More details on participating brands to be announced at a later date. Visitors to the festival can also experience the iconic Moe Moe Kyun Maid Cafe and Atelier Royale Butler Cafe, exclusively available only at Anime Festival Asia Malaysia, for a memorable dining experience. At AFA 2011, the cafes received over whelming response, with over 2,000 customers served in just 2 days! Anime Festival Asia is a platform created by the commercial industry and is a 100% piracy free event.

As part of this festival, visitors will be enlightened on ways to differentiate original and fake products and be informed on the harm caused by piracy. The festival hopes to encourage visitors to buy original products. Beyond a consumer showcase, Anime Festival Asia Malaysia is also a rare platform for business owners who are keen to explore collaborations with Japanese content owners to get better insights into the music, animation and publishing industries.

Mr. Mitsuhisa Ishikawa, Co-Founder and President of Production I.G, a Japanese Anime entrepreneur, who was also the producer for the Ghost in the Shell film will be present to share his experience. He will be joined by Mr. Ishii Tomohiko, a renowned Animation Producer for Ghost in the Shell, Sky Crawlers and TV series Eden of the East, who will be sharing some of their latest releases scheduled for 2012.

Commenting about the first Anime Asia Festival Malaysia, Mr. Gaku Shinoda, Vice-President of Dentsu Malaysia Sdn Bhd, said, "We are indeed very privileged to be involved in this anime festival and are happy to leverage on Anime Festival Asia as a premium platform. Armed with Dentsu's strength in content, we are able to partner with AFA Malaysia to bring and introduce premium content to the masses."

Partners and sponsors have been specially invited to match the significance of the inaugural event and its relevance to the local audience. Events partners include SOZO, Mochiro Sdn Bhd, and Dentsu Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The hotel for Merdeka - the Federal Hotel Kuala Lumpur, and Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur are the official hotels for the event. Plaza Low Yat, Malaysia's largest IT Lifestyle mall, is the official shopping centre, while Bushiroad is a sponsor. More sponsors and partners will be announced at a later date.

Danny Choo, one of the most well-known and respected bloggers of Japanese pop-culture in the world will be the official host of AFA MY 2012 for many of the main stage events. In addition to his blogs, he also manages MIRAI Inc, an Internet solutions provider, and produces and hosts Culture Japan, a weekly program on Japanese culture on Tokyo MX.

Big K.R.I.T – Live From The Underground Lyrics

Big K.R.I.T – Live From The Underground Lyrics

[Hook]
Pushin’ rhymes underground like moonshine
With jump like juke joints
Ridin’ like old ‘lacs
Down like 4 flats
Shine like gold grills
Curls and chrome rims
Bitch you know what it is
I’m Live from the underground, underground
Live from the underground, underground
Underground, underground
Live from the underground railroad

[Verse 1]
My papa told me get paper, motherfuck a hater
Them J’s look clean son but elevate to gators
I took that shit to heart plus I dug it like a crater
I’m givin’ out game player are there any takers
While you was quarter sackin’ I was quarterbackin
Callin’ plays everyday, level All-Madden
Hi five, cloud nine, private jet lackin’
Treat the seal like a vinyl record, gotta keep it crackin’
Shall I pour up, blow some smoke up, get my spit on
Grab a paper, sit on a track and get my shit on
Ice cold water with the flow minus the lemon
I’m Cinematic Multi, what label you been on
Old school ridin’ flickin’ ashes in the tray
Smokin’ up the booth blowin’ static in they face
C.R.E.A.M., cash rules everything around me
King, checker board nigga go and crown me

[Hook]

[Verse 2]
Keep it rolled, I’m supposed to lose control
Oh no, pop the trunk, burn a skunk and slam a do’, do’
Window crack on the ave, marinate the scene
When I lean and crawl couldn’t see me with your high beams
Play my part, I got heart, I’m tailor gator sharp
Plus we sit taller than Malta trucks in them trailer park
My candy coated it cost a grip but I had to blow it
Your sides was dusty, my seats is bucket but you’ll never know it
Forever tinted so you can’t peep while your bitch up in it
You call her phone she give you tone like “Why you trippin’”
Cold blooded ain’t it but that’s how it be when they want that cash
When you ain’t around anybody can be in that ass
Heard that from 8-Ball homeboy girlfriend
If she a bopper then she probably ain’t your girl then
You claim you pimpin’ don’t be trickin’ wear a curl then
And find some paint to put some swirls in

[Hook]

[Outro (4x)]
We goin’ live
From the underground
From the underground
From the underground
